US Route One, Scarborough.
Biddeford Savings Bank is pleased to announce that it
will be opening a new branch location at 360 US Route One, Willowdale
Place, in the Spring, 2006. Maureen Weeks, Vice President of
Sales and Branch Administration and a resident of Scarborough, and
Dan Colby, Vice President-Commercial Lending, have recently joined
the chamber membership in Scarborough and look forward to the new
branch opening later this year.

Member Profile: Saco & Biddeford Savings
Institution Laura Bustin
of Portland is the new manager of the
Scarborough branch of the Saco &
Biddeford Savings Institution, Maine’s
oldest bank. The manager of Evergreen Credit Union for the last seven
years, Laura has some 30 years in the banking industry - from teller
to Vice President and Manager. From 1979 through 1995, she was at
Maine Savings Bank/Fleet Bank, leaving as an Assistant Vice President
and Branch Manager. She was Vice President and Manager of Maine Bank &
Trust’s Scarborough branch between 1995 and 1998, responsible for
business development and commercial lending. While in Scarborough,
Laura was active in Kiwanis and the Scarborough Chamber of Commerce.
"I’m looking forward to being back in Scarborough and reconnecting
with these groups," she says. A native of Lynn, Mass., Laura moved to
Portland in 1975, after graduation from Framingham State College. She
and husband Norm have two daughters, Kate and Liz.
