What we believe

As Christians--

- We reach out to anyone who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

- We accept anyone who has invited Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour to be our brother or sister in Christ.

- We invite you to share God's love through participation in our church.

As Baptists--

--We affirm the Bible as our final authority in faith and conduct.

--We believe Jesus Christ is to be the Lord of each individual believer and is the living head of the Church.

--We practice baptism by immersion following a person's acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. It is a public expression, symbolic of the spiritual change which has already taken place in that individual.

As American Baptists--

--We are Christ-centered, Biblical, evangelistic, mission-minded, and world conscious.

--We are ecumenical, tolerant of minor differences, diverse and inclusive.

--We are self-governing, yet voluntarily associate with other churches to bear our witness more effectively.
