Barbara & Dwight Bolick
The Convention of Baptist Churches-Chilean Mission invited Barbara and Dwight to serve with them in ministries of economic and leadership development. Their primary focus is with Mapuche churches in southern Chile. The Mapuche are the indigenous people of Chile and Argentina.
Kit's primary ministry involvement is with the New Life Center Foundation in northern Thailand where she works in a wide variety of ways with ethnic minorities from the hill tribes. The New Life Center works with tribal minority girls who have come out of exploitative labor situations or are at risk for becoming victims of labor exploitation. Her work there includes teaching residents Bible and personal budgeting classes, directing the handicraft program and providing pastoral care and leadership development for New Life Center staff.
Ann and Bill Clemmer
Ann and Bill Clemmer are relocating to South Sudan after 16 years of service in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Bill will be serving as country representative for IM's partner, IMA World Health, working with a team of 35 men and women from six African nations to help establish and reinforce primary health care services for an estimated 4 million persons. Ann will be supporting communication, logistics, and the needs of Sudanese health care workers in various training and educational settings.
Charles and Sarah West
Charles serves with the Baptist Convention of Zambia in the areas of educational ministries and leadership development. He participates on the Central Executive Committee (CEC) in planning training sessions for church leaders & new church planters. He is also involved in the planning and staging of national evangelistic and outreach ministries.
Doris and Ricardo Mayol
The Mayan Intercultural Seminary at Chiapas, Mexico is a regional center of the Seminario Bautista of Mexico, and the headquarters of the Mayols’ ministry. Even though Americans may be familiar with Mexico, few know about el México profundo, the original inhabitants of this continent.
Nora and Pieter Kalkman
Nora and Pieter are based in Prague, Czech Republic where they serve through International Ministries as liaison and volunteer coordinators with the European Baptist Federation (EBF). They match the skills and interests of short term mission volunteers from the United States and Puerto Rico with the needs of more than 50 Baptist unions that are part of the EBF.
